IRON DOME - Israel Attack Gaza

Iron Dome is part of what professionals describe as a “multi-layer shield” that includes the Arrow system, which is being upgraded, and the Magic Wand, now in development. When finished, the system should guard against destruction from crude, short-range rockets made in Gaza to ballistic missiles from Iran.

Iron Dome shoots down rockets with a radar-guided missile known as Tamir, which was developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, an Israeli company. The radar was developed by Elta, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, and another company, Impress, developed the command and control system.

Because each interceptor missile costs $40,000 to $50,000, the system is designed to aim only at rockets headed for populated areas and to ignore those destined for open ground outside cities and towns.

Barack Obama wins 2012 - Barack Obama Menang Untuk Penggal Ke 2 Sebagai Presiden AS.

Presiden Amerika Syarikat (AS), Barack Obama menang dalam pilihan raya jawatan itu sekali gus mencatat sejarah sekali lagi dengan menafikan wujudnya pemulihan ekonomi lembap dan kadar pengangguran yang tinggi untuk menundukkan pencabar Republikan, Mitt Romney.

"Ini berlaku (menang) kerana anda (penyokong). Terima kasih." kata Barack Obama dalam Twitter sebaik kekal sebagai Presiden Amerika Syarikat (AS), sebentar tadi. 

Obama berada di Chicago manakala lawannya, Mitt Romney di Massachusetts ketika keputusan pilihan raya awal menunjukkan Obama berjaya mengekalkan penggal keduanya di Rumah Putih.

Obama menewaskan Mitt Romney di lima daripada enam negeri atas pagar iaitu di Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania dan New Hampshire, sekali gus meletakkan beliau memperolehi 274 undi pemilih, iaitu melebihi 270 undi yang diperlukan untuk memenangi Pilihan Raya Presiden AS ke-57 ini.

Romney pula memperolehi 201 undi pemilih dan satu-satunya negeri atas pagar yang dimenanginya ialah di North Carolina, menyebabkan harapan calon Republikan itu untuk menjadi Presiden berakhir.

Secara teori, Obama diramalkan memenangi semula kerusi Presiden AS bagi penggal kedua.
